back from holland

Back in Barcelona again, after spending the long holiday weekend in Holland with our friends Karen and Joost. We managed to dodge the rain long enough to do some sightseeing, shopping and eating. On Monday night Karen's parents invited us over for a "rijsttafel" (literally, "rice table"), which is an Indonesian dinner with dozens of different dishes, most served with rice, and which can take a couple of weeks to prepare.
