Virtual Tourist, Part 2
Now that Christmas is over, I finally got around to part two of my virtual tourist project (for details on part one, see this post). This time the visit was to Casa Batlló, a Gaudi-designed building on Passeig de Gracia in Barcelona. For anyone remotely interested in design and architecture, this place is a visual feast. Everywhere you look there are curves taken straight from nature, and it's not quite like anything designed before or since.
All told, I ended up taking over 350 pictures (lucky I got that 8GB CF card for Christmas), and with luck I might get 20 or so decent shots, which I'll upload over the next few days. Check back with the Flickr set now and then to see what's new.
Oh, and Happy New Year, everyone!
